Johnny Foreigner, from Birmingham, sort of Indie/Noise-pop, sometimes shout and other times popping the harmonies. Seen them in Brum a couple of times and also conversed with them back in the day on MySpace, where I was a cool kid once.
*should be noted that there’s plenty of omissions from this playlist as their first album and my favourite “Waited Up Til It Was Light” isn’t on Spotify (though I have managed to bag a couple of songs that were released as singles) so it means no Absolute Balance (💩💩💩💩💩🌟) and also The Coast Was Always Clear (💩💩💩💩💩🌟) doesn’t make it eithet as its got a hidden track attached and as far as I’m aware there’s no way to play it without the 10 minutes of silence after.
