I assume they’ve been around for a while but have always passed on the name alone. And I’m fairly certain I’d been mixing these up with Echo & The Bunnymen and that might have been a mistake on many levels. Hints of Manics crossed with 00s indie like I dunno Hot Hot Heat or something. Either way, I like this song.

Again, can’t say I’m a massive fan of the name. Feels a little gratuitous to have any connection to sex just for the attention. Having said that, this song and the album from the bits I’ve listened to are perfect sexy times mood music. Also reminds me of Mazzy Star, which again is absolutely fine to listen to while ‘getting it on’

Yes, this song was used in the John Lewis Xmas and. Yes I did well up – it happens. I like Blink 182, I like the original – I think this version tops it. I can’t get it out of my head. Just works so well, and the video with the sad clown is great too.
