The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, from New York, shoegazey indie pop. Saw them live at a very ‘arty’ night in London. One of those that the vocals might not have been on pitch but the ‘vibe’ definitely made up for it.

The Thermals, from Portland. Lo-fi indie punk pop-ish, they called it a day in 2018. One of the best ever live gigs I’ve been to one balmy summers eve down London Town, booked in to a travelodge in Kings Cross, watched the Canadian GP, had my first ever Subway. Glorious.

Wolf Parade, they’re Canadian and do sort of Indie Rock kind of stuff. Seen them a couple of times down London Town, Dan Boeckner sure does know how to rock out – Little bit of a man crush, or I’m jealous. One of those.
